Our Mission

To cultivate disciple-making congregations that prayerfully and sacrificially embody Christ's transforming gospel to all nations in Bankstown and beyond.

Our Values

Head + Heart + Hands

Informed by the Word; Transformed for the World.

St Paul's Anglican Bankstown is a Reformed, Evangelical church. We love the Bible and prioritise deep Biblical teaching and knowledge. However, this is never knowledge for knowledge's sake. All of our Bible-focus is aimed towards transformation of hearts, wills, and affections, both individually and corporately.

Jesus Is Worth It

Holding Nothing Back In Living & Giving

Sacrificial living and giving is the mark of true discipleship. St Paul's Anglican Bankstown seeks to cultivate that as a part of lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus.

Partners Not Passengers

In Church & Mission Everyone Gets To Play

We have the conviction that we are all priests in God's Kingdom, and every member of the body of Christ needs to be mobilised for the church to grow.

God's Heart = Our Heart

Neighbours + Needy + Nations

We are a church that is motivated by the gospel always to be outward looking rather than inwardly focused. Mission is the heart of God and needs to be our heartbeat as well. As a corollary of taking the gospel to our community and the world, we seek to reflect Jesus' heart for the poor and marginalised by caring for them in practical and material ways.

Our Beliefs

Safe Ministry

We are committed to the Biblical principle of providing safe ministry programs and actively preventing any kinds of abuse against children, youth and adults at St Paul's Anglican Bankstown. Our aim is that everyone within our church will be able to safely participate and contribute in appropriate ministry programs, and that they will be able to safely report any incidents of abuse or safety concerns. We will respond appropriately to all reports in the interest of all those involved.

To build and maintain a safe community for our children and vulnerable adults, we are committed to ensuring that:

  1. All leaders are appropriately screened, trained and appointed;
  2. All programs are led and run in a safe and appropriate manner;
  3. There are clear procedures in place for dealing with incident reports and safety concerns, and;
  4. The leadership team regularly reviews these policies and processes.
